your story

I've always loved the saying change your thoughts and you change your world. I actually have that saying framed in my bathroom so i can remind myself to change my thoughts. Anyway i was in Pulaski, TN and seen your shirt "change your thinking and change your world."  It really stood out to me and I had to go in the store to look at what else they had. I ended up getting a mug and the shirt. The lady who owned the store was really nice and said she had met you and she spoke very highly of you. She told me to check our your website and I'm glad I did. I loved reading your story and now its made the whole saying "change your thinking. change your world" take on a whole new meaning. I love the fact that you can tell your story about your battle with depression and how you weened yourself from your medication that is wonderful. Thank you for sharing your story. I will definitely spread the word about your website. Thanks again, Michelle, AL

I received my THINK HAPPY STUFF order today.  I love it!!!!  I tried on my brown tee and my 4 year old son said, "Mommy I like your shirt with the flower.  I like flowers. They are nice and make me happy."  I couldn't agree more with young Jackson's statement.........out of the mouth of babes.

Thanks for working with me and getting the things here so quickly.  I can't wait to give my friends their mugs!!!!
God Bless,
J. Jones, Virginia

Dear Christine,
I am a Chi Omega and just read about you in The Eleusis. I loved your story and your company name! So, I went online and after viewing the products, I decided to order a few things!  I can't wait to wear my t-shirt and spread the news of your company to my friends here in Texas! Here's to continued success in your business and your life!

We  live in VA and my husband and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at the Homestead Resort in Hot Springs.  We stopped in a small boutique on the way to dinner and I spotted your logo on some shirts.  I instantly thought, "I LOVE that!"  Then I thought of about 10 other people who would LOVE it too!!!!  Then I thought, "How wonderful your quotes would be to use in my 3rd grade classroom!!!"

Hello! Wanted to let you know that I discovered your product line tonight out in a new boutique off Hwy 100 in Nashville. I bought the book and have just loved reading it! Thanks for sharing these simple, but most important thoughts. Thanks and keep up the great work! I love happy stuff!

Mary Glynn, Nashville

While reading your story, it gave me goose bumps. I believe in what you're saying 100%. I saw your items today at a children's shop in Franklin and was so inspired by your motto that I ended up buying your coffee mugs and tumblers. I will now be giving them as gifts to everyone I know. Thanks for sharing your story and sending such an inspiring message!

Sincerely,
Tara, Nashville

Thank you! I saw a bumper sticker and it stayed in my memory for a couple of weeks before I finally looked it up. What a wonderful story and service. This is my philosophy exactly.

Again, thank you.

You and your family are awsome! I love your story and your product. Keep it up. Its great to see companies like yours out there. I will be buying your mugs as gifts for my friends and the Ts for myself! Good Luck in your adventures! Thanks for making the world a better place.

Christine,
I met you yesterday at the Galleria. I was with my 2 co-workers from Madison County CASA. Thanks for taking the time to talk to us about your company. My husband and I LOVE the book and it has spurred us to have some pretty thought provoking conversations and to think of the little things that we can do in our life to change our community and world. Thanks for allowing us to pray with you. I can't wait to tell all my friends about your products. I would love for you to possibly come to Jackson to share your story to our Women's Ministry at church.

What a wonderful idea! Your story reminded me of going through the process of grief with the loss of my infant daughter last year. I learned that my faith, although it was challenged, helped me heal. I was also inspired by your story of your adopted children. My husband and I have two girls, Bailey who is 3 1/2, Kenzi who passed away and are awaiting the arrival of our son any day. I believe I want more children but I think adoption is something I would strongly consider and your story helps me realize how wonderful adoption is. Thanks!

WOW! Your little book is just as amazing as you are, Chris!!  I have already had some coffee in my mug and can’t wait to carry it with me so that people can ask me about it. I love to tell your story. Thanks again!

Hi, while in Franklin TN with my 11 year old daughter's synchronized ice skating team, I came upon your kiosk. I am from the Chicago, Il area, and another mom and I purchased many of your items. I wore my think happy stuff cap today and I had soooo many positive comments from people. My story is a long one, I am a divorced woman with three young girls. The past three years have been very difficult ones, but with the people God has brought into my life, I have been empowered to be happy, now I can proudly wear that message with your great items. I truly believe that God only gives you as much as you can handle, and that he brings people to us for a reason, connects us. I had a wonderful time in the Franklin/Nashville area with my daughter and our wonderful skate team from Chicago. Life is definitely an adventure to be shared, and I am sharing your wonderful message up here in Chicago. :)

I love the happy message that your company sends and have given your website and stickers to several friends and co-workers.  I work at an Elementary school and know that wearing something with such a positive powerful message has a positive impact on those around me!

I work at my church office and a special friend of mine got me the little book "change your thinking, change your world."  I would love to order several. It was so practical and to the point and simple.

I am in the sorority Kappa Delta that you talked to last Tuesday night at Tennessee Tech. I'm a freshman this year and for me to actually have made it to school is a miracle. The week of my graduation in May my brother killed himself. When it first happened i thought it was all a joke because someone called me at like 3 in the morning the night it happened and just said he had shot himself and thats all they would say to me. I woke up my parents and told them because i didn't know if it was true or not and the person who had called me wouldn't answer his phone again. They got up and went to his apartment. I didn't find out till the next morning that it was true. He was buried the day of my graduation so while everyone else was excited about being out of school all i could think about was how i'd lost my best friend. I found out later that his fiance was the reason he did it. I had a very serious boyfriend at the time and we broke up not long after that happened. Every day since I lost him has been so hard, but everyday it gets a little better. One of the girls in my sorority first told me about your stuff and it really has helped. I have your stickers on all of my notebooks and look at them all the time in class. Now anytime it gets hard for me I can look at that stuff and know that everything really can be ok even if i don't think so.

Chris- My sister just gave me one of your hats... I looked on the website and am just amazed. My story would take up your entire site :)... basically, I woke up one day and my life literally was blown apart. I've been in the midst of a bitter divorce for the past two and a half years. I have two young daughters, my oldest with special needs. Both are such special gifts which I have the blessing of raising. I look at my oldest daughter on the days when I want to give up and think "she NEVER gives up, she never stops, she always laughs, and she is the most determined little girl that I have ever met, in spite of her disabilities". My girls inspire me to push forward, find the joy in the moments when there is no joy, and persevere. Your inspiration has touched my heart today... and for that, I thank you. What a wonderful gift you have set into motion, reaching into your heart, on so many different levels, and pushing through pain to give other people the encouragement to do the same. Thanks for the gift today, for the smile, and for message. What a wonderful thing you are doing... sharing love, joy, and hope. With many hugs and much love- Amy:)

Christine, my daughter, Eve was in the KD group you spoke to tonight, and was so touched by your story, that she called to tell me about it. Eve is one of the most positive people I know. My husband was laid off this summer and is still without a job. I love it when Eve comes home, because she has a way of making everything seem much better. It IS all about attitude, and it IS truly God's grace that can help us be positive and get us through the toughest of times. THANKS A MILLION for what you are doing and may God bless your efforts and your family!

Dear Christine, Great idea! My daughter is in Maxine's class and I first saw your logo at a birthday party. Chatted with Elizabeth at the mall. :) Love your concept. My husband will love it to. He is a firm believer in thinking happy stuff. :)  I wish you the best of luck. I am excited for your business and how it may grow.  Blessings on you, your family and your vision! Monica

I recently made a trip to Franklin where my sister in law and brother in law live.  While I was there I went to the mall where I met your lady running the booth, Kim.  She was the nicest lady!!  I totally loved your message and merchandise!!  It is so true how you think is how your world is.  I am doing a class with my broker (I sell real estate on the side) and it is called "your heart's desire."  I purchased mugs and will be giving them to my broker and her assistant tonight.  I am so excited cause I know they will love them!  Kim had told me your story and how your business got started and that is an awesome story and you must have a heart of gold to do what you have done for the children you adopted.  That is great, the world needs more folks like you!

Just wanted to let you know that I was at your kiosk this past Saturday 9-29-07. I was very impressed with your daughter Elizabeth. She explained a little about your company. I love the wonderful message you are trying to send with your products. I bought two shirts and two car decals. I will do all I can to try and send your message in my little corner of Arkansas. I will check your website often to see if you have added any new products (travel mugs?) Thanks

Hi my name is Codi Cummings. My mother had spoken to you just this week about my sorority and how we love THINK HAPPY STUFF! I am a Kappa Delta at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. After receiving a shirt that was purchased by my mother from your line, I was immediately drawn to your story and the idea behind the merchandise. I then brought the ideas and merchandise to my chapter and they immediately accepted and loved what you are doing. We are in the process as of now of getting our entire chapter to get THINK HAPPY STUFF merchandise! We want to wear it around campus and show our support hopefully getting others in the greek community involved as well. We fully support and encourage you! Thanks so much for coming up with the idea and please let me know if there is anything that our chapter of Kappa Delta can do to support you and your family! God Bless!

I ran into Chris at the mall today 6/30 and heard about the great things yall are doing with "Think Happy Stuff". When I got home and was reading about your stories, I realized I know Tom Andrews. I was good friends with his daughter Suzanne when I was younger and could not believe Mr. Andrews has parkinsons. I love the slogan "Change your thinking. Change your world". My third child was born with down syndrome one year ago tom., and that phrase means a lot to me also. Thanks for sharing your stories. My name is Melanie. I am 25 years old and a third grade teacher in Florence, Alabama. While I have had many blessings in my life, I have also had tragedy. In November of 2000, my dad passed away suddenly. My mom, brother, and I made it through the sad times with the strength given to all of us by God. With time, the three of us finally began feeling like a family again. Now, almost seven years later my family has been hit with heart wrenching tragedy again. On June 10th my 21 year old brother Michael was killed in an automobile accident. Michael was working as a camp counselor for Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters in Andrews, North Carolina at the time. He and three other counselors were killed in a weekend camp trip to a baseball game. To say my brother was an optimistic and compassionate person would be an understatement. He never had a bad day and always had the brightest smile on his face. He was always first in line when others needed help. He was a true man of God and I know he is standing with his Lord today. However, my mom and I are left behind and are somewhat overwhelmed and shocked by what we are supposed to do now. Following the uplifting funeral service, we spent each day meeting and talking to people my brother impacted and welcoming guests with love and food into our home. After about two weeks of being in the house, my mom, aunt, grandmother, and I were told by loved ones that we needed to get away if possible even just for a day. We decided to drive to Franklin, Tennessee and go to the Coolsprings mall. When we got to the mall, I passed by the Think Happy Stuff kiosk. I stopped and looked at the cute t-shirts and other items. I talked with Christine Fekete who was working there that day. After seeing the products, when I got home I found their website. Just from reading and learning what their mantra- “Change your thinking, Change your world”- means really brightened my day. Think Happy Stuff would definitely be something I would have shared with my brother Michael. I know that he would be just as interested in them as I am. Thinking happy and changing the world by helping others was what my brother was all about. It would be easy for us all to shut down and stop when hard things come our way. However, if we all change how we think about our own situations and begin to reach out to others in need, happy stuff will begin to happen. I am so thankful that I saw Think Happy Stuff, Inc. that day. I will continue to support and help their organization any way that I can.
